The Green Light.
A week has past since receiving the letter.
Nothing yet.
Not a soul in sight.
To bring this up to date, received this in the mail on Saturday last:
Note in the letter above. They are putting in print that they have received the Permit from the Inspector's Office to proceed with Producing...guess the plans are finally deemed okay.
They go on to say the Permit is in the hands of the "Production Department" - those are the people who produce from the raw materials the Sunroom...the craftsmen so to speak. Now the issue is how far behind are these workers...when do they get to our Permit, and start "Producing"?
When the "Superintendent" deems the "Product" ready, he will contact us...so we don't see him until it's "Produced".
The letter is signed by the Contract Manager...someone who manages contracts, though on the real letter the signature in no stretch of the imagination matches the typed name.
We now wait for how ever long it takes. We did however receive a similar letter back in November last year. At that time they did start "work"...the mess that remains til today. Remember the phoney permit issue?
Bye the way, many have asked us what is in the mysterious trailer parked out front on the driveway. Not to be cynical, but it wouldn't be stretching it too far to imagine our inoccently inquiring of the Inspector's Office of the phoney permit, Nice Guys Corp would just love to settle all this in this fashion:
JUSTIFIABLE PARANOIA?
Guess we couldn't blame 'em...but why would they do that...post a phoney document? It just doesn't make sense...that had to be someone they should be glad to be rid of. Could have been costly all around.
However, we believe the sub-contractor who pumps in the concrete for the footer will be here today.
