Der Inspector Arrives.
Thursday, March 22, 2007, around 1115, the Inspector showed up.
Invited him in through the front door, he asked to see the Permit. Told him we just received it the day before...was told to keep it out on the pateo...the work site. Let him out onto the pateo...a man of few words...looked at the footer forms...came inside with the Permit, and said to keep it inside, and left.
Later noticed that he had initialed the Permit where it said: "Footer". Presume now that he notified all concerned that they can proceed with pouring the concrete for the footer...dunno.
We believe the sub-contractor who pumps in the concrete for the footer will be here today. Keep a lookout for this truck.
