Sometime just after lunch.
Was going to wait until the weather forecast ran it's time...there's still a possibility of rain. Figured I'd be posting this page when work began. However, I'm posting it now.
El Wyfo just peaked in and said the Nice Guys Corp. Project Manager/Superintendant just called...sounded very "officious"...said they will be here on Monday morning to begin pouring concrete for the
footer.
This is very funny. Funny because just a bit before lunch I made up a
cartoon, and sent it to their
info@niceguyscorp.com. A little humorous brevity...they seem to enjoy these cartoons, at least said they did. I have sent them emails using this address before...I guess everyone gets a copy as it's not
to anyone in general. Here's the email:
Every time I do this we get either a letter, an email, and now in this case
a phone call...the letter was ( a month or so ago ) from the Contract
Manager; the email ( just last week ) from the "Senior" VP;
and now ( ten minutes ago ) the phone call from the Project
Manager/Superintendant.
This is for real! We can feel it.
We believe the sub-contractor who pumps in the concrete for the footer will be here on Monday. Keep a lookout for this truck.
